Baba Jobe, Amadou Samba Civil Case Deferred

The civil suit involving Baba Jobe, Amadou Samba and seven other defendants was on Thursday the 30thof October 2008 postponed until the 11thof November 2008.

Justice Safiyatou Njie of the Banjul High Court presided over the case.

The suit, which was scheduled for continuation of cross-examination of the defence witness by the plaintiff counsel, was later adjourned until the 11thof November 2008.

Total Elf Fina Gambia Limited is claiming from the nine defendants the sum of $778,948.15 being the money owed by the defendants by virtue of invoices signed with the authorisation of the defendants. The plaintiff Total Elf Fina is also claiming interest and costs.

The defendants are Salifu M Jallow, Lloyn Burrough, Baba Jobe, Tarik Musa, Muhammed Bazzi, Lynn C. Willson, Amadou Samba, Phillip Thompsett and Salifu A Jallow.
