Association also donated medical items and sanitary equipment worth sixty-nine
thousand dalasis to its staff in a bid to join the crusade against COVID-19.

the Gambia requires concerted efforts by all, saying they would continue to
complement the efforts of the chamber in their crusade to curb the spread of
the pandemic.
“This
is why we decided to join the crusade through GCCI to combat the pandemic. We
have also approved sixty-nine thousand dalasis to buy buckets, sanitizers,
medicine and soap to support our staff in the fight against the pandemic,” he
said.
Mr
Joof thanked GCCI management for their bold initiative and members of his
Association for their readiness to join GCCI in the fight against COVID-19, as
the pandemic, he added, has caused lot of havoc to thousands of people around
world.
He
equally advised the general public to adhere to the WHO and health experts’
preventive guidelines.
