The assault case involving one Bubacarr Hadim continued recently at the Bundung Magistrates' Court before Magistrate Surahata Danso, with the testimony of one Jaja Gibba.
Testifying as the defence's second witness, Jaja Gibba told the court that he knows the accused person, and could recall what happened on 11th May 2010.
According to him, on 11th May 2010 he was in his garden at Brufut when he heard wailing emanating from the accused person's garden. Upon his arrival at the accused person's garden, he found the complainant sitting, while the accused was standing and a nylon bag containing cashew nuts was placed beside the complainant.
According to DW2, he appealed to the accused to let the complainant go, but the accused said the complainant came to steal his cashew nuts
DW2 strongly denied that the complainant was jointly assaulted.
The case was adjourned to 22nd September 2010 for continuation.
