Armed Forces share spoils with Wallidan in GFF 1st Division

Armed Forces on Sunday came from one nil down to share points with Wallidan in the 2014-2015 Gambia Football Federation division one league, after a 1-all draw in the week five fixtures played at the Brikama Box Mini Stadium.

The blue boys opened the scores through striker Ousman Sillah in the first half.

The karki boys levelled the scores through former Steve Biko striker Musa Bojang, in the second half to salvage a point for his side.

Interior snatched their first win in the new season after defeating Serrekunda United 2-0 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium. Momodou Camara aka Toubab and Musa Danso were on target for the police outfit.

Elsewhere, Gambia Ports Authority drew goalless with Banjul United in an all-Banjul derby encounter played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.

Armed Forces are now with 6 points in four games; Interior, Gambia Ports Authority and Banjul United have 5 points each in four games.

Wallidan are with 4 points in four games, while Serrekunda United are still languishing at the bottom with zero points in four games, and are hoping to win their remaining games in the league to move away from the relegation zone.
