Abdoukarim Jammeh, a victim of April 10 and 11, 2000 students’ demonstration has appealed for assistance, on behalf all other victims of this tragic incident.
Jammeh, who was shot on his left leg during April 10th and 11th student riots, said they should be compensated to be able to cope with their conditions.
According to Jammeh, who is now a disabled, the day once again reminds him of the most serious moment in his life.
While urging for the institution of a compensation scheme, he called for memorial services for the fallen victims of the day.
The young April 2000 victim said they would never forget the incident that killed their colleagues and made several others disabled.
