Dippakunda FC have booked their place in the quarterfinals stage of the ongoing Dynamic Sarahuleh Association for Changes and Development tournament following their 2-nil victory over Drammeh Kunda FC in the knockout game played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on Tuesday.
Babanding Jawo scored both goals for Dippakunda FC in the 25th and 48th minutes of the game respectively to guarantee his side a place in the quarterfinals stage.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the game, Bully Touray, head coach of Dippakunda FC, said his players were determined during the game, which earned them the win.
He added that they worked hard for the game and rectified their mistakes, which also helped them.
He noted that any team they meet in the quarterfinals is fine because he believes in his players.
He is sure they will reach the finals because they have the players, he said, adding that football is about combination and communication.
