APRI to hold community outreach in Banyakan

Following a successful diabetes and hypertension testing program in Duwasu in Kombo East District, APRI under the stewardship of Madam Tuti Faal, would conduct yet another community outreach program on Sunday August 1st, 2010 in Banyakan village to test the people of Kombo South for diabetes and hypertension.

The Banyaka community outreach program will be conducted by experts, and frontline health workers from the Greater Banjul Area.

APRI, the Association for Peace Building and Rural Improvement (APRI) is a locally registered non-governmental under the leadership of Madam Tuti Faal, former first lady of The Gambia.

APRI is a people-centered non-profit making organiztion ready to support government in empowering individuals and communities to attain their maximum potential through the provision of quality healthcare, relevant education and social amenities that are sustainable and culturally acceptable.
