The course, meant to equip participants with modern skills and techniques in coaching, brought together 18 young coaches that took part in the just ended Gunjur Nawettan league championship.
Speaking at the ceremony, Buba Bada Bojang, president of Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA) and chairman of Kombo South District Sports Committee (KSDSC), applauded Football
Bojang, who described the course as “timely”, said it would go a long way in equipping coaches with new skills and techniques in modern coaching.
The public relations officer of GYSDA, Lamin Demba, urged the participants to make the best use of the knowledge gained from the training.
