Speaking at the occasion, Edward Seckan, the Governor of the North Bank Region commended Hon. Singhateh for his vision and foresight to the development of his constituency and The Gambia as a whole.
According to Governor Seckan, the numerous development projects registered by the Jammeh administration since it came to power is a clear testimony of the love President Jammeh has for the people of the region and The Gambia, in particular. He urged the communities to register and vote massively for the APRC in the upcoming elections, noting that it is only by doing so, that they can have their dreams come true.
He described the gesture as timely, adding that it would go a long way towards eradicating poverty in the region. Governor Seckan further urged the villagers to resolve their political problems for the good of the party, stressing that it would be of no good to the party when they are loggerheads with each other.
For his part, Tapha Saidy, the Youth Mobiliser of the area commended President Jammeh for bringing development to the door steps of the people of the North Bank Region, and then assured him of massive win in the upcoming elections.
"We the people of North Bank are so grateful to President Jammeh and the APRC party for bringing the much-needed development projects to our doorsteps. This is a clear manifestation of the true leadership of President Jammeh, which has always been manifested," he said, and then called on the people of the region, especially the youths to rally behind the APRC party and vote massively for President Jammeh and all APRC candidates in the Local Government elections.

Singhateh, who is also a member of the ECOWAS parliament, the people of Baddibu now have access to clean and portable drinking water, electricity, telephone lines and good road networks. He recalled that during the former regime, Baddibunkas do find it very difficult to travel from Banjul to Baddibu.
"Thanks for his foresight, we can now boast of good road networks, and a lot of other development projects," he said, while calling on the communities to resolve their political differences and vote massively for President Jammeh and the APRC party.
The APRC party, Hon Singhateh added, is the only party that can bring the much-needed development that Gambians want, ruling out the possibility of any opposition threats in the region.
