Another Setback In Fraud Case

The criminal trial involving one Mr. Alieu BM John who is standing trial on 11-count criminal charges of fraud and forgery, at the Kanifing Magistrates' Court presided over by Principal Magistrate Ikpalla had failed to proceed on the last sitting as the Police Prosecutor ASP Bojang was absent from court.

According to Cadet Inspector Mballow, who held brief for him, Prosecutor Bojang was engaged in other official duties beyond his control, and consequently applied for an adjournment.

However, the Defense Counsel E M Sissoho did not object to the application.

The case was consequently adjourned to 7th December 2009.
