A
anonymous Gambian donor residing in the United States of America, recently
donated football items to the Gambia kids.
The
donated items include soccer gears such as footballs, shoes, shirts, and
shorts.
The
beneficiaries were Basse Mansajang in the Upper River Region, Kololi in the
Kanifing Municipality, and Busumbala and Brufut in the West Coast Region.
The
items were delivered and distributed by the anonymous donor, who wanted to
ensure the items were directly received by kids in The Gambia.
The
donor is using this as a pilot and is planning on executing a bigger donation
in the future.
According
to the donor, children who received the items were very grateful and thankful
to the donors from Ohio Toledo area in the States.
The
donor expressed his willingness to support Gambian kids with football items to
improve their football.
The
beneficiaries said the items would go a long way in helping some of the kids
who were playing barefooted. Upon receiving the shoes the children were excited
and filled with joy.
For
their part, the kids lauded the donors for the timely gesture, saying the
donated items would aid them in realizing their dreams in football.
