Amie Jahbless works on second album

The famous Banjul female musician is busy in the studio working on her second album, expected to hit the town before the end of 2011.

The album in the pipeline will circulate throughout the whole country when released.

The album will also be distributed to various recording studios within the greater Banjul area.

Speaking to Entertainment in a telephone conversation on Wednesday, Amie Jahbless said the coming album will be more powerful than the previous tastes fans have had of her musical ingenuity. “It will be the talk of the town,” she says.

All necessary arrangements will be put in place before the actual release of the album, she added.

“This my coming album will be one of the best to hit the music industry,” the reggae queen says, adding she always wants to set or make a record whenever she releases a new album.

The young Banjul female musician released her first album entitled Honesty in 2009. The 9-track album is still making waves in town.

According to her, since its release, the debut album has been resonated far and wide in The Gambia and the sub-region.

Amie Jahbless has always been grateful to President Yahya Jammeh, thanking the Gambian leader for supporting her, musicians and the music industry in the country.

She also always thanks her fans and all those who support her in her career and love her wonderful music.
