Amdalai FC on Saturday defeated Mbankam FC 6-5 on post-match penalty shootouts to be crowned champions of late Ya Bandeh Joof tourney organised by Lower Niumi North Football Committee.
The knockout final played at the Mbollet-Ba Lower Basic School football ground ended 1-all in regulation time.
Amdalai FC took the lead in the early minutes of the encounter but Mbankam FC levelled the score towards the end of the game.
As winners, Amdalai FC went home with a trophy and a cash prize of D6,000 while runners-up Mbankam FC collected a consolation prize of D4,000.
