The theft
case involving one Abdou Jallow was recently adjourned before Magistrate
Ibrahim Kijera of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.
The case was adjourned on the grounds that the prosecution witness was not in court.
When the case was called, the prosecutor applied for an adjournment on the grounds that his witness was not in court, as agreed and he had called him to come and testify.
The trial magistrate asked the accused whether he had any objection to the prosecution’s application for an adjournment, and the accused said he had no objection to the prosecution’s application.
The case was then adjourned till 3 April 2014, for continuation of the prosecution’s case.
