Alleged television set thief arraigned

One Yusupha Njie, a resident of Tallinding, was recently arraigned before Principal Magistrate Fredrick Foster of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing.

According to the charge sheet, on 14 August 2011 at Tallinding in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Yusupha Njie, stole a television set valued at D1100, being the property of one Baba Sillah.

Yusupha Njie denied the charge, and was granted a court bail of D1,500.

The case continues.
