Testifying, Detective Abdoulie Sowe told the court that on the day in question, he was on duty at his office at Bakoteh Police Station around when he received a telephone call about the alleged rape. He added that he then rushed to the scene with Chief Superintended Commissioner Yankuba Sonko who is now the crime management coordinator.
