A man accused of stealing a cell phone was recently arraigned at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.
Ebou Ceesay denied the charge and was granted court bail of D1, 500 with a Gambian surety who must deposit an ID card.
According to the particulars of offence, on 12 December 2011, at Latrikunda Sabiji, the accused, Ebou Ceesay, allegedly stole a cell phone valued at D1, 000, being the property of one Sheriff Touray.
The case at that juncture was adjourned till 24 January 2012.
