One Abdou Karim Drammeh of Brikama Jamisa was recently granted bail of D5,000 by the Brikama Magistrates’ Court presided over Magistrate Malafi Jarju, for allegedly obtaining goods by false pretence.
According the particulars of offence, some time in 2015 at Brikama Jamisa in Kombo Central district of the West Coast Region, with intent to defraud, he obtained one mobile phone, mark Samsung value at D4,000, from one Amadou Jallow with the pretext that he was going to sell the said mobile phone and bring the money back to the complainant, which he knew to be false.
He denied the charge and the case was adjourned until 23 March 2016, for hearing.
