The Bundung Magistrates’ Court presided over by Magistrate Cham recently heard a case of alleged assault involving Saidou Cham and Ousainou Tamba.
The two were alleged to have sprayed the complainant during a land dispute incident, which the witness went to attend at KunkuJang Jattaya.
Demba Sigan told the court that on the said date, he was standing at the gate of his compound when he heard a noise, and went to see what was happening.
He said he found the two accused at the scene, and they sprayed him with a chemical gas, adding that, as a result, he went to hospital where he was treated and issued with a medical certificate.
The witness identified the medical certificate, which was later tendered and marked as an exhibit, without any objection from the accused persons.
