Ajax FC of Giboro-Kuta on Saturday thrashed Sanghna 3-0 at the Kuloro Football Field to maintain their unbeaten run in the ongoing Kombo East district football tournament.
The Academy boys came into the game with 3 points after winning their opening game before snatching a comprehensive win over Sanghna to maintain their unbeaten run, as well as their hundred percent record in the championship.
Ebrima Jallow gave Ajax FC the lead in the 1st minute of the game, before Yankuba Jallow, alias Deco, netted the second and third goal in the second half to earn the Academy boys their successive victory in the championship as well as complete his brace.
Sanghna fought hard for an equalizer but to no avail, thus the game ended 3-0 in favour of Ajax FC.
Speaking to this reporter shortly after the game, the head coach of Ajax, Buba Sanyang, better known as Oliver Khan, appealed to philanthropists to sponsor his academy, saying they are currently leading in their group.
