A man called Samuel Gomez was recently granted bail of D12,000 with one Gambian surety by the Kanifing Magistrates' Court, presided over by Magistrate Clement Ngube.
Gomez pleaded not guilty of a charge of stealing and was subsequently granted bail on the aforementioned bail condition.
According to the particulars of offence, on 27 March 2011, at Old Jeshwang, the accused, Samuel Gomez, stole from Auto Motive Mechanic Garage items worth of D9,800, the property of one Kalifa Ceesay.
Prosecuting officer 3084 Ceesay represented the IGP.
The case was adjourned till 10 May 2011.
