Access Bank on Saturday defeated Prime Bank 3-1 in the ongoing Late Famara Jatta’s Memorial Interbank Football Tournament played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
Prime Bank opened the score through striker Daniel Nicole in the 27th minute of the game, before Omar Barrow levelled it for Access Bank in 25 seconds in the second half of the game.
Edrissa Faye and Bubacarr Samba netted the second and third goals for Access Bank in the 65th and 59th minutes of the game respectively to give their side the maximum points at the expense of Prime Bank.
In the other game Arab Gambian Islamic Bank drew goalless with Guaranty Trust Bank on the same day, while on Friday Standard Chartered Bank beat Skye Bank 2-1 on the same day.
