Following a meeting held on 29 April 2012, the Gambia Wrestling Association (GWA) will hold its congress on Saturday 5 May 2012 at the Independence Stadium Friendship Hotel in Bakau at 10.00 am.
All club members affiliated to the wrestling association will have two voting rights, the nine Executive Members and one regional Representative respectively.
It is important to note that only Gambian resident is legible to be voted into office.
All regions are requested to send one representative who must be nominated by the Regional Sports Committee.
In this regard all regions are requested to have wrestling sub-committees that will support efforts of the wrestling association to achieve its objective from the regions and local level.
