Abdoukarim Sey has been elected as the president of the West Coast Region Football Federation at a congress held on Sunday at the Governor’s Office in Brikama in Kombo Central, West Coast Region.
During the congress, Modou Camara was elected also as the first vice president, Bakary Bojang 2nd vice president, and Karamo Colley 3rd vice president.
The secretary general, assistant secretary general and treasurer will be appointed by the Executive.
The West Coast Region Football Federation was initiated by the Gambia Football Association (GFF) in their drive to decentralize and promote football across the country with the remaining regions set to also have their own football federation.
