Gambia forward Sainey Nyassi, who left New England Revolution last month and now plays for DC United, at the weekend faced old club in a 0-0 draw on Saturday.
Nyassi appeared as a second-half substitute from the bench for the second time at his new club after making his debut for them last week when the club lost 2-0 to Chicago Fire
Both sides had near misses in the scoreless game, according to goal.com but Lee Nguyen went close for New England in the 18th minute.
The draw marks the sixth occasion this season that New England have been held scoreless in MLS play, and the Revs now have a 5-4-5 record.
D.C. remains last in the East and Major League Soccer on 1-10-3.
