President Yahya Jammeh has removed Abdou Kolley from his Cabinet post as minister of Trade, Regional Integration, Industry and Employment, with effect from Wednesday 11 June 2014.
GRTS television last night announced that the minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Kebba Touray, has been assigned to oversee the Trade ministry.
It would be recalled that this was not the first time Kolley has been relieved of his portfolios as a minister. He has been in and out of President Jammeh’s cabinet several times, including reportedly serving twice as Finance minister.
