4 arraigned for criminal trespass

Four suspects were Monday arraigned before Magistrates Babucarr Secka of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with criminal trespass.

Maimuna Sanyang, Jafama Saidykhan, Jobe Mbye and Mamadi Badjie all denied the charge, and were each granted court bail of D10,000 with a Gambian surety who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposit an ID card.

According to the particulars of offence read in court, the accused persons on 22 April 2013, at Lamin Village, in the West Coast Region, entered into the garden of one Mr Winston Able Thomas with intent to intimidate, insult or annoy the said Mr Winston Able Thomas.

The case was adjourned for hearing.
