Abdul Kadri Diaby and Ebrihima Diaby were on Monday arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court charged with conspiracy to commit misdemeanor and presenting a certificate in the name of another person.
The particulars of offence on count one stated that on 19 June 2012, at Banjul International Airport, the accused persons, Abdul Kadri Diaby and Ebrihima Diaby, conspired together by giving a Malian passport of Ebrihima Diaby number 13283496 to Abdul Kadri Diaby to travel to Spain.
Count two read that on the same day and place, the 1st accused, Abdul Kadri Diaby, presented himself to be Ebrihima Diaby by presenting a Malian passport number 0358144 and Spanish residential card number 13283496 bearing the name of Ebrihima Diaby to the profiling officials of Air Maroc with intent to travel to Spain.
They admitted to the charges and were subsequently remanded until 4 July 2012, for facts and sentencing.
