This year’s event Get ready for an unforgettable performance by the legendary Youssou Ndour at The Fatu Network & Africell Heroes Award on May 13th, 2023 at the Sir Dawada Kairaba Center!
The award by the Fatunetwork honours outstanding and inspiring personalities and figures in The Gambia who have impacted change in counties and the country at large. Last year’s event was held in March at Coco Ocean.
In a nutshell, the award is a cross-sectoral award designed to honour outstanding and inspiring Gambians who have been instrumental in effecting positive change and development in diverse sectors of the Gambian society throughout 2021.
This year’s show will feature one of West Africa and Africa’s most celebrated musicians, Senegal’s Youssou Ndour, and multi-award-winning rapper Sana Singhateh, alias ST or Brimakama Boyo, amongst a host of other popular Gambian artists.
As it has always been the case, the May-13-night is anticipated to be attended by celebs, dignitaries, top entrepreneurs and government functionaries from around the sub-region, including The Gambia, Senegal and Sierra Leone.
The TFN Heroes Awards is established by The Fatu Network, one of the leading online news platforms in The Gambia.
