Big Banga, Dog Father, Uche, O boy and Gambian Child, Awa Gambia, Bimzy, Lil Bamz and some other trendsetting Gambian artists are expected to hit the stage at the event.
Badibunka was one of the leading and most talented artists few years ago, and his music was a regular in radio stations and entertainment shows across the country. He sings and writes his songs in Mandinka. He has a unique style that mixes and blends his lyrics with traditional music instruments that produces a powerful cultural taste.
The event is expected to attract massive crowd from the five regions of The Gambia, from the West Coast to the Upper River. It is also anticipated, without doubt, to be another breakthrough for an artist (Badibunka) who has been away from the public eye for so long a time, as it marks his first mega project over the years.
Massive publicity has been done by the artists and their team. On Saturday, a road show dubbed ‘The Bunkas Road Show’ was held and t-shirts were put out for sale, and both Badibunka and Binbunka have been engaged on tough rehearsal in preparation for the album.
