All Set for Bro’s ‘Situationo’ album launching

 Bro .K one of Gambia’s finest Afromanding artiste is set to launch his debut album called  ‘Situationo’ at the Serekunda West Mini Stadium on December 2nd 2023.

The album consists of twelve tracks and produced by various producers in Gambia depicts issues affecting society as all his music talks about the happenings in society.

 Bro K told The Point  that: “The album launching is something my team is working on day and night for the event, a night full of entertainment. I have a lot of artists who are going to perform on the night, both Gambian artists and international artists. December 2nd I will entertain my fans to the maximum with unlimited entertainment and good live band performances."

When asked about security on the night, Bro K gave assured that the night will be well secured as they have already involved the Police to ensure that anyone who comes to show their support is given maximum security.

 He called on all Gambian artists who are willing to perform on this night to come forward as he is always there for every Gambian artist.

He also called on all his fans to come out in large numbers to support the day, assuring maximum fun  with good music from both national and international artistes.

 Bro K began his music career in 2010 and released his first single entitled ‘Sunkutoo’ (2011). That same year, he signed his music to Shyboy Entertainment studio. In 2013, he released his debut mixtape entitled ‘Kumakeso’.

He is one of the popular artists in the country renowned for his staunch stance and hymns against awful practices in society. In one of his songs ‘Mbenyokono’, he advocated for people to come together despite tribe and language differences.

In 2015, he released the single ‘ABalefa Learata’ (Very sorrowful) dedicated to illegal African youths living in Europe. Some of his hit singles are ‘Sunkutoo’ (Girl), ‘Mbenyokono’ (we are together), ‘Lenjengoo’ (a Mandinka cultural dance), ‘Futuu’ (Marriage), ‘Haako’ (Yes) and ‘Wuliyaafola’ (Liar).
