He revealed that SJAG would train, develop and expose Women’s in the media.
"We would do our best to ensure you are empowered to take your rightful place at the pinnacle of sports journalism," Jarju said.
Jarju congratulated all female sports journalists for pioneering the Women's Sports Reporters Commission (WSRC).
“We the sports persons are not just reporters but are also catalysts for change,"Jarju said.
Jarju stated that the establishment of the WSRC was a historic step, adding that they strive to create supportive environment for their female colleagues.
The work of WSRC members and women in the industry is crucial, he highlighted, saying there are women that are doing amazing work.
Jarju urged Women's reporters to remain steadfast in their duties as sports reporters.
