Sanyang defeated Brikama 4-3 post-match penalty shootouts after regular time ended 2-2 in a keenly-contested final played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to clinch the 2022 West Coast Region football tournament trophy.
Coach Bojang was decorated at the West Coast Regional Coaches Association (WCRCA) annual award night ceremony held at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on 9th Saturday December 2023.
Meanwhile, Coach Sulayman Barrow won the 2022 West Coast Regional Coaches Association (WCRCA) best coach of the year award after guiding Gunjur to the 2021 West Coast Region zonal football tournament trophy.
Coach Barrow also guided Gunjur to the 2021 Kombo South District football tournament trophy after thrashing Banyaka 3-1in a well-attended final played at the Sanyang Football Field.
