Jarju’s attendance follows an invitation from his counterparts in Bissau, marking an important step in strengthening bilateral ties and professional cooperation between the two sports media fraternities in West Africa.
The prestigious event is expected to be graced by several high-ranking dignitaries, including Guinea-Bissau’s Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Minister of Social Communication, and other senior government officials.
During his visit, President Jarju will hold discussions aimed at fostering regional solidarity among sports journalists and share best practices for the development of sports reporting within the sub-region.
