Scorpions embrace recovery training session as Madagascar approaches

The Gambia senior national team yesterday held their recovery training session in Morocco, as their 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Madagascar draws nearer.

The Scorpions will the next four days to prepare themselves fit and ready for their crunch qualifier match against Madagascar this Friday.

The Gambia and Madagascar are both with a point each in two group matches after drawing 1-1 with Comoros Islands in their previous qualifier matches.

Coach Jonathan Mckinstry and his Scorpions charges need the maximum points to maintain their 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup qualification on track after their woeful start to the continent’s biennial biggest football fiesta qualifiers.

The Gambia currently sit third-place in Group A of the 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with a point after two group matches.
