Scorpions begin training ahead of Seychelles clash

The Gambia senior scorpions have started intensive training ahead of their crunch 2026 World Cup qualifier match against Seychelles.

The Scorpions will use their training sessions to prepare themselves fit enough for their global biggest football showpiece qualifier clash with Seychelles.

The Scorpions are set to host Seychelles in their third Group F fixture of the global biggest football showpiece qualifier on Saturday 8th June 2024.

Coach Jonathan Mckinstry and his charges need to beat Seychelles to maintain their hopes of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup despite their dismal start to the global biggest football fiesta qualifier campaign.

The Gambia and Seychelles are yet to secure a victory in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers after losing their two opening group matches.

The Scorpions slipped to Burundi and Ivory Coast in their two opening qualifier matches.

Seychelles lost to Ivory Coast and Kenya in their two opening qualifier matches.
