The 2024 Brikama inter-kabilo football tournament is organised by Brikama Sports Committee (BSC) in the memory of former Brikama United, Gamtel and Samger gaffer late Sulayman Kuyateh, who passed away in 2021.
Late Sulayman Kuyateh guided Brikama United to the 20216 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) FF Cup triumph.
Kuyateh also guided Gamtel FC to the 2017-2018 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League crown before joining Samger FC.
