Real de Banjul rejuvenate lead in 1st Division

Real de Banjul have revived their lead in the 2024\2025 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Vista Bank-Baluwo sponsored Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League.

The City Boys thumped Greater Tomorrow 3-1 in their week-thirteen fixture played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Saturday.

Pa Abdou Cham, Sarjo Fofana and Sheikh Jaw were all on the score sheet for Real de Banjul during the match.

Momodou Boye Jallow’s lone goal only proved to be a consolation for Greater Tomorrow during the match.

The win earns Real de Banjul top-spot on the country’s Elite League table with 27 points in thirteen league outings.

Greater Tomorrow still sit bottom-place on the First Division League table with 10 points after ten league fixtures.

Meanwhile, Hart FC drew 1-1 with Steve      Biko at the Jarra-Soma Mini Stadium.

Gambian Dutch Lions drew goalless with BST Galaxy at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.

Hart FC occupy second-place on the First Division League table with 23 points in thirteen league matches.

Steve Biko sit tenth-place on the country’s Elite League table with 15 points after thirteen league games.

BST Galaxy occupy seventh-place on the First Division League table with 18 points after thirteen league matches.

Gambian Dutch Lions sit ninth-place on the country’s Elite League table with 16 points in thirteen league outings.
