Real de Banjul have ended their six match winless run in the 2025\2026 Vista Bank-Baluwo sponsored Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League campaign.

The City Boys thumped Medina United 2-0 in their week-eight match played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Saturday.

The City Boys snatched the significant three three points, thanks to goals from Fallou Gaye and Agibou Dibba during the match.

Medina United reacted for an equaliser but were unable to unlock Real de Banjul's solid defence line thus the match ended 2-0 in favour of Real de Banjul.

Real de Banjul now occupy 10th-place on the country's Elite League table with 9 points in eight league matches.

Gaffer Ebrima Jatta and his Real de Banjul charges will be hoping to maintain their winning form to fancy their chances of retaining their league title.

Medina United sit 12th place on the First Division League table with 7 points in eight league outings.

Coach Alieu Jagne and his Medina United charges will prepare themselves ready to win their upcoming league matches to increase their dreams of staying in the First Division League for another season.
