Midfielder Musa Barrow has fired The Gambia to their first victory in the 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Scorpions defeated Madagascar 1-0 in their fourth qualifier match played in Morocco yesterday.

 Musa Barrow missed a penalty for The Gambia in the first half before scoring the winning goal for the Scorpions in the second half.

The Gambia now secured 5 points in four group matches.

Madagascar snatched only 2 points after four group matches.
