Gambia eye another triumph in AFCON

The Gambia senior national team will be eyeing another victory in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations when they clash with Mali in their second Group F fixture on Sunday 16 January 2022 at 1pm.


The Scorpions defeated Mauritania 1-0 in their opening Group F match to clutch their debut win in the continent’s bi-annual biggest football fiesta.

The Gambia will vie to beat Mali to clasp another victory in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.

Mali will contend to overcome The Gambia to clinch their second triumph in the continent’s bi-annual biggest football showpiece after beating Tunisia 1-0 in their opening Group F match.

Meanwhile, The Gambia and Mali are both with 3 points each after winning their respective opening group matches.
