Coach Badjie was speaking to The Point Sports shortly after side’s 8-7 post-match penalty shootouts defeat to TMT FC in their semi-final match played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Monday.
‘‘We played two matches against TMT FC in the country’s Elite League this season but both encounters failed to produce a winner,’’ Coach Badjie said.
‘‘They defeated us on penalty shootouts and we were not lucky to progress to the final.”
‘‘We prepared well to win the match to progress to the final but they defeated us on penalties,’’ Coach Badjie conceded.
Coach Badjie revealed that his team played better football than TMT FC during their semi-final match.
‘‘The team is young. We are going back and prepare ourselves ready for next season,’’ Coach Badjie posited.
