Medina Utd need point against Essau to gain automatic promotion to 1st Tier

Medina United need just a point against Essau United in their final league outing today, Thursday, 17th July 2025 at the Jarra-Soma Mini Stadium to gain automatic promotion to The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League.

The Medina Boys currently sit second-place on the country’s Second Tier table with 59 points in 33 league matches.

Gaffer Alieu Jagne and his Medina United charges will fight to batter Essau United to gain automatic promotion to the First Division League.

Essau United will be playing for pride after their relegation to the Third Division League following their dismal performance in the Second Division League campaign.
