Bundas FC defeated Box Bi FC on Tuesday to advance to the semi-finals of the Manjai Sports Association (MSA) ‘nawettan’ knock out following a 4-2 post-match penalty shootout win over Box BI FC.

Box BI FC opened the scoring in the 6th minute of the match but they could not hold on to their lead and gave Bundas a chance to level matters.

This pushed the tie into post-match penalty shootouts, which ended 4-2 in favour of Bundas FC.

Meanwhile, Bundas FC are slowly moving away from the relegation zone as they advanced to the semi-finals.

Kololi Central defeated Johm’s 1-0 on Wednesday.

Captain Adama Mbye scored the only goal of the game in the 47th minute.

Manjai Sanchaba thumped Brusubi Extension 2-1 to cruise to the semis match played at Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on Thursday.

Manjai Sanchaba took the lead in the 14th minute through goal poacher Alagie Jallow before Ebrima Sowe double their lead 21 minutes later.

Tairu Njie pulled one for Brusubi Extension in the 61st minute, a goal which served to be a consolation for the Brusubi based-team.

Lemon Tree FC edged out Kotu FC after defeating them 1-0 at the Father Gough Sports Complex Manjai Kunda.

Lemon Tree's lone goal came in the 24th minute after a Lemon Tree player headed home to establish Lemon Tree's lead and eventual winner.

Kotu FC now exited the MSA nawettan while Lemon Tree remain the only team hunting for a double as they advanced to the Semi-finals of the knock out.
