Amadou Jallow could have restored parity for Juventus FC in the 60th minute of the match but his towering header went over the cross bar thus the match ended 1-0 in favour of Magtab Warriors.
As champions, Magtab Warriors FC went away with a giant trophy, gold medals and cheque amounting to D100,000 while Juventus FC received silver medals and D70,000 as runners-up.
Speaking to journalists after the match, head coach of Juventus FC, Omar Jammeh, pointed out that his side played very well and created goal scoring opportunities but failed to score.
Gaffer Jammeh thanked Juventus FC fans for supporting the team during the final despite failing to lift the Serrrekunda East nawettan trophy.
"Our ambition was to clinch the Serrekunda East nawettan league trophy but we failed to capitalise on our chances," Coach Jammeh said.
