He stated that the Independence Stadium pitch is the best in West Africa at the moment.
Manneh further stated that CAF has approved all the compliance areas at the Independence Stadium expect the football pitch.
He pointed out that they have been working on the Independence Stadium pitch for the past three months.
Manneh further pointed out that the running track equipment are already at the Independence Stadium, adding that they are waiting for the machine from ports.
He added that an expert from Turkey would install the running track at the Independence Stadium.
Manneh stated that the Independence Stadium will host matches in May 2026.
Meanwhile, the Independence Stadium was banned from hosting international matches in 2021 after failing to meet Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) requirements.
