The two-day gathering brought together clubs from the first and second division domestic leagues both men and women categories.
Declaring the workshop closed, President of the GFF, Lamin Kabba Bajo, described the event as fruitful and important, while encouraging the participants to implement what has been learnt at their respective clubs.
"It was not easy to bring this workshop; it required a lot of work on the background but thank Allah it was a fruitful two days’’
‘‘Football is a serious business, and you should see your clubs as a business entity,"Bajo said.
President Bajo urged the clubs to make best use of the FIFA Connect platform.
He commended the participants for the commitment throughout the period, while assuring them of the GFF's commitment to capacity building.
For his part, first vice President of the GFF, Bakary K. Jammeh, thanked the CAF Club Licensing experts Siman Allie-Mans-Conteh and Francis Adu for making a long-term dream of the Executive Committee a possibility.
Jammeh said it took time to convince stakeholders that capacity building is key since the introduction of the CARMS project.
He advised the clubs to take the FIFA Connect seriously as it will only help them to realise more revenue.
CAF Club Licensing Online Platform instructor, Siman Allie-Mans-Conteh praised the participants for making it a memorable two days for him and his colleague.
He challenged the participants to implement what they learned, noting the great talents in the country.
Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the participants, Sainey Kanyi of Steve Biko Football Club was full of praises for the GFF and CAF for the opportunity accorded to them, while encouraging his fellow participants to take academia seriously.
He assured the GFF and CAF of the participants' commitment to implement the knowledge gained.
