2nd Tier: Jeshwang Utd maintain top-spot despite Greater Tomorrow draw

Jeshwang United have maintained top-spot in the 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women's League Division Two despite their 2-2 draw against Greater Tomorrow in their week-14 fixture played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Sunday.

Wuday Colley and Fatoumatta Jammeh were both on target for Greater Tomorrow in the 13th and 70th minute of the match respectively.

Isatou Buwaro netted a brace for Jeshwang United in the 26th and 85th minute of the match respectively.
Jeshwang United now secured 28 points after winning 8 matches, drawing four and losing two.
The Sifoe based-club, Yakarr closed gap after their 2-1 victory over Raptim at the Bakau Mini Stadium on Sunday.
Yakarr now occupy second-place on the Second Division League table with 27 points after winning 7 matches, drawing 6 and losing 1.
Darboe's FC defeated Lower Nuimi 2-1 at the King George 5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.
Prison defeated Trust 2 -0 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Saturday, while Kinteh's beat Jung Mama 1-0 at the Bakau Mini Stadium on the same day.
Meanwhile, Fortune vs Mansawally was postponed.
