The award, organised by the CEO of the Fatu Network, Ms. Fatou Camara, recognise the contributions of Gambians from all walks of life for their remarkable works in their areas of speciality over a 12-month period.
Dubbed the Heroes Award 5.0, the Gambia and Brighton wing wizard took home the Person of the Year, which is usually the highest gong amongst the lot.
The President of the GFF, Lamin Kabba Bajo described Minteh’s award as a win for every Gambian football stakeholder and not the player alone.
