Gunjur Utd slip to Samger in 2nd Division League

Gunjur United on Monday slipped to Samger 1-0 in their week-25 clash of the 2024\2025 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League played at the Gunjur Nyamina Mini Stadium.

The Coastal Boys were unbeaten in their last three league fixtures before locking horns with Samger, who are contending to regain promotion to the First Division League after their shock relegation to the Second Division League last season.

Gunjur United fought hard to triumph over Samger to better their status on the Second Division League table.

The Coastal Boys and Samger both created a few goal scoring opportunities during the match.

Samger scored one goal in the closing stages of the match without Gunjur United reacting to grab the maximum points.
